idki don’t think it would. i’m a runner for my school’s track team too but i’m a girl and when i started shaving my legs i couldn’t tell a difference in my speed and stuff. i don’t think u should unless ur REALLY serious. ur gonna get laughed at at schoolGo for it. A lot of athletes shave for reasons of aerodynamics – swimmers and cyclists especially (although the latter has to do with going toilet en route), so there’s no reason you can’t shave as well. Long term, however, you might want to consider waxing.sure. go for it. i don’t see why you shouldn’t. like you said, who cares about what other people think.I think you should leave your legs alone. You might create problems for yourself, like ingrown hair, itchy, scaly, dry skin, takes time to maintain and take care of your skin if you start shaving regularly. Besides hairy leg is manly.
However you can try to shave your legs, there is nothing to lose, it will grow back.YesThere’s no scientific evidence that shaving body hair increases performance one way or another. It’s just personal preference, mostly. Or some fad started by team mates. No big deal. Just a pain in lthe patoot to keep it looking right. Gotta allow a little extra time for maintenance.if you think it will help, go for it. worse case scenario you will have to wait about a month for it to grow back. i have shaved for sports in the past. i think it helped. even if there is no proof that it aids in performance, it feels that it does. anyone than plays sports knows how important the mind is in aiding performance.

I say do it and see for yourself. it’s not permanent.

  1. Blue says:

Yes shaving your legs does cut back on time but only very very slightly. It might only cut a second off and usually its only done by Olympic athletes.
Guys might think you’re weird if you shave your legs, too.
