The Three Essential Daily Skincare Products
Via www.dermtv.com – Younger looking, more beautiful and healthy skin doesn’t require skin salves that contain the purest water from the top of the Himalayas. In fact, you can attain younger looking, more beautiful and healthy skin by following a simple and easy regiment of three inexpensive skincare products that are available at your local pharmacy or convenience store. And the best part about it is that this can all cost you less than . Dr. Schultz will share which products these are. Transcription To have and maintain younger, healthier looking and more beautiful looking skin, there are three essential skincare products that you need to use everyday. First is a gentle chemical exfoliant like glycolic acid which helps to remove the dead cells on the surface. This gives you brighter, lustrous, more even colored skin. The second product is sunscreen which obviously helps to prevent sun damage, particularly lines and wrinkles, dark spots, broken capillaries and even more importantly skin cancer. The third is an antioxidant. I prefer Vitamin C products. They are very important at giving you additional protection against the sun. So any energy from the sun that gets past your sunscreen can be neutralized by the topical antioxidants. They also help renew your skin and make it a more even color.

How To Maintain Young Looking Skin
In the past, I have always envied rich people primarily because they have the financial resources to keep their skin young looking. As you know, there are a lot of cosmetic procedures that can erase deep wrinkles and fine lines. But I know better now.
You don’t really need a lot of money to maintain young looking skin. In fact, the following inexpensive tips can give you a youthful appearance that can beat the effects of cosmetic procedures:
1. Take advantage of the benefits of supplements.
You can use them to augment missing nutrients in your system. I suggest using Vitamin E and omega-3 fatty acid supplements. Vitamin E can help nourish skin tissues and cells. It has natural antioxidative benefits that can remove the harmful free radicals that attack cells in the body.
Omega-3 fatty acids have anti-inflammatory benefits. This can prevent cellular inflammation in your system so your body can function normally for a longer period of time. These fatty acids are also capable of promoting a healthy production of growth hormones. Growth hormones help in the regeneration of collagen and elastin.

2. Avoid stress and get a lot of sleep
Stress can trigger an oxidation process to happen inside our body. This will prompt the appearance of harmful free ranging radicals. Avoid stress as much as possible. Take a short break from work. You can also seek the help of antioxidants to ward off free ranging radicals.
Sleep is also imperative. When you sleep, your systemic functions undergo regenerative processes. These processes will correct damaged tissues and cells.
3. Use a reliable anti aging moisturizer
Do your own research and find out which moisturizers can really harness the functions of your skin. Look for products incorporated with natural ingredients such as CynergyTK, Phytessence Wakame and Nano Lipobelle HEQ10.
CynergyTK is a great source of keratin. This is a functional type of protein responsible for collagen production. It can keep skin firm and resilient for a prolonged period of time. Phytessence Wakame is what you need in preventing the loss of hyaluronic acid. This is the acid responsible for collagen lubrication. Nano Lipobelle HEQ10 has antioxidative benefits that can get rid of harmful free radicals. This antioxidant has smaller molecular structure so it can penetrate deeper into your dermis.
4. Always wear a smile on your face
Frowning speeds up the appearance of brow wrinkles. Brow wrinkles are quite difficult to remove especially if they are deep. Smiling can put a healthy glow on your face and around your eyes.
In the end, natural remedies can do a better job of sustaining youthful skin functions. You should use these tips if you want to have young looking skin for a longer period of time.

Doctor, I’m a guy and I don’t have a gay bone in my body, but your voice is as smooth as a baby’s bottom.
@parkranger487 OOPS i meant to say exfoliate with the sea sponge. The packaging says its ok for daily use. I just use it with 3 different types of washes (i.e. cleanser, scrub and cream wash). All of these washes are for daily use as well. Sorry to confuse u!
@parkranger487 Eek! Dont exfoliate everyday! 3 times a day? is your face ok? :O Only do it once! (Also dont exfolitate your undereye area!).
Maybe twice a week? That does the charm.
wait so exfoliating can help prevent cancer?? Im about to go exfoliate!
Hey Doc. I have a question. I just recently bought a natural sea sponge at the drugstore for $3 and the packaging says i can use it alone to exfoliate my face or with a cleanser. But i use it with a cleanser, scrub and cream wash. Is this okay? Because after the scrub i felt a bit stingy on my face but the cream wash made it a little bit better. I have had this feeling before and i broke out badly. Can i use this three times a day? I don’t scrub too hard i just scrub normally.

Hi Doc… should i exfoliate my body everyday too? Does it help with chicken skin too? I mix extra virgin olive oil + sugar cane + honey = my exfoliates. Is it good enough or I have to by a chemical one at a store?
@dermTVdotcom Nice to know, thank you
@tedoymisojos I also read that exfoliating too much breaks down the collagen in the skin :S
But wouldnt the daily exfolation irritate skin? maybe damage the lipid barrier of the skin? I’ve been using low percent salicylic acid pads at night allover the face, and that seems to be fine with my face, but sometimes I wonder if doing this daily or using a scrub daily is actually damaging my skin, and making it vulnerable and bringing up different problems.
hi doctor, i shave my face everyday at night time after cleansing to take all of my makeup off. I’ve been doing it for about a year after going to japan, where its more acceptable for women to go for a face shave its normally practised on weddings for that flawless look. But my main concern is that because i do it daily am i over exfoliating my skin. i’ve also read that overexfoliation accelerated aging
So does this mean I can use my chem exfoliant even if it says on the instructions to use 2-3 a week? thanks.

Very informative. I always thought that it was *not* recommended to exfoliate more than 1-2 times a week, but perhaps it’s the abrasiveness of the product or method that matters in the instance(?)
Thank you so much Dr. Schultz. I was breaking out like crazy on my chin area and after taking on your advice about exfoliating everyday with a gentle exfoliating cream and using azelaic acid cream, I am clear clear clear, and the acne marks are fading. I’m so happy!!! I can see now that It makes sense to exfoliate every day or every other day so that there’s no dead skin bulid-up, especially for mature aging skin (I’m 40). your vids are very helpful for acne sufferers like me, so thank you!!
Exfoliating gentle and with a gentle exfoliator, I take it? I use perhaps the most grainy scrubby exfoliator available because it feels like it’s doing something more than some really watery ones, and I probably tend to do it a bit too hard, so I imagine it wouldn’t be good to do this every day; I do it 3-4 times a week.
@PirateKing1256 ha. good luck with that
I totally disagree.
I thought using St. Ives face scrub twice a week (or just once a week) would remove dead skin cells, so why the need to use glycolic acid every day? and when do you use it? as it sounds very harsh to use it every day? I use A scrub once a week, and cleanser and toner and moisturize at the end with sun screen. Is that good?

I saw a competent dermatologist like 6 yrs ago I think his last name was Berck. Anyway, very professional and a man of integrity — kindof like me pre-torment chamber and out-of-youtube
Anyway, so I spoke to him about my sensitive facial skin and he told me, basically, it’s genetics — the recessive genes. It’s like your parents and their ancestry chain all had brunette hair but you have blonde hair kindof thing
Being a $100M RED is recessive too!
how about a physical exfoliant everyday instead, is that possible or too much?
Is there a gentler alternative to Retin-A? I used Retin-A before and it nearly burned all the skin off my face! It was very painful.
Doc, is it safe to use sub-lingual glutathione if u want a more lighter or fairer complexion…..?
Someone mentioned washing the face with glycolic acid, benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid, but I’d heard that the ingredients just go right down the sink drain and that they might irritate the eyes.
So basically,
Morning: wash with a gentle cleanser in the morning, sunscreen, moisturizer
Night: make up remover, exfoliating cleanser with salicylic acid, topical antioxidant serum, moisturizer
Is that a good routine?
I’m 21.
Is malic acid a good substitute for glycolic acid?
Hey, is it essential to use toner everyday in order to prevent clogging of large pores?
thank you doctor
what if sunscreen brakes u out??
