Why would someone pick their skin all the time?
That is a major tweaker thing to do…….Nervousness, Obsessive compulsive disorderbeing a tweaker once. I fully understand were some go with it…
yes, some do it from being nervous or just plain tweaking! My problem was a bit different. I have 2 different skin disorder’s when I saw them I’d freak out and try to get ride of them by picking at them, well that just made them worse. later after all that i found out that i have a Self Mutilation problem. that had nothing to do with drug’s at that time.yes probally anxiety and ocd which i have both and i pick the fire out of the skin around my thumbs,especially when im here on the computer. its like i have to constantly be doin sumtin, but i am taking herbs by native remedies and they are helping my anxiety and no side effects. but i know one day it will be better. and i know alot of people out there got the same probI do the same thing.
It’s called dermatillomania, and it’s a bit like obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Many people theorize that it’s caused by an overactive grooming impulse.
