Some creams will cause the skin to product small red bumps, burn, and nick quickly. Using a glycerine based shaving gel will prevent skin irritation. Also, make sure to complete your shaving job with a proper moisturizer or aftershave balm – do not use alcohol based aftershaves!

Another great men’s skin care tip is to visit a spa for a facial. Now, most men may not like the idea of getting a facial, but there is a method to this madness…promise. You see, when you get a facial, a beauty expert will be able to tell you what kind of skin you have. Knowing what kind of skin you have will allow you to purchase the right kinds of skin care products.

Half the battle to great skin care is knowing a lot about your skin. Find out what kind of skin you have, how to care for it, and what to do to avoid those little inconsistencies. While it’s highly unlikely that you will become a skin care expert, you can start to prevent aging by working with the skin that you have.

Many men may not know that much about skin care. However, this doesn’t mean that you can’t learn. If you want your skin to stay young, look great, and attract the opposite sex, it’s important that you care for your skin every day.
