Sunscreen is the Most Effective Anti-Aging Method!
How damaging the sun really is, and why you dummies need to stop being so lazy and slather that sunscreen on PRONTO!! Breaking down the science and making it a little easier to digest for you. Love y’all!! MY BLOG: heycheri.livejournal.com MY DRESS www.hotmiamistyles.com ** Use the code “CHERI” during checkout for FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE!! NOTE: Stay out of the sun when it’s rays are the most harmful, like around noon. Early morning sun and late afternoon sun (5:00 and after) is great for the body to produce vitamin D! Q: Is it true that the rays can only penetrate the outermost layer of sunscreen on your face? Eg If I wear SPF 50 and then put on an SPF 10 foundation on top of it, will the sun’s rays stop at the foundation layer? Haha because this is what a skincare sales lady told me and I thought it sounded like a load of bull crap! A: First of all, that b*tch is an idiot and probably didn’t even know what she was talking about, because if she DID?? She would have been a bit more passionate about the sunscreen portion and not about the makeup portion. You can’t ADD UP SPF numbers like that to equal a STRONGER sunscreen. The SPF in your MAKEUP only protects against B-Rays! So things like sunburn, rashes, blahblahblah. If your makeup doesn’t specifically state that it protects against UVA as well (which it most likely doesn’t)?? Then it doesn’t!! And the UVA rays will still go deep into your skin and shrivel you up like a prune! Makeup with SPF in it is NOT a proper …
Aging Skin Care To Protect Against the Signs Of Aging
If you are experiencing wrinkles, age spots and facial lines then you need to start thinking about finding a good aging skin care product. These signs of aging are inevitable as you grow older. The best thing you can do to take care of your skin is to maintain its natural nourishment and reduce the signs of aging.
One way to protect your skin is by using creams, lotions and serums with antioxidants. Grape seed oil, active manuka honey, natural vitamin E and coenzyme Q10 are all excellent examples of antioxidants found in skincare formulas today.
These antioxidants in aging skin care products will fight free radicals that we come into contact with daily because of environmental factors out of our control. Air pollution, chemicals in most household cleaners, and harmful sunrays are the most common ones we encounter most often.
Spending time in the sun is fun and an activity many people look forward to. But as we age we need to protect our skin form these damaging rays. The oxidation from the activity of free radicals is one of the three most widespread signs of aging each of us will face.
]]>
We can protect our skin by wearing long sleeves, wide sided hat, umbrellas and other sun protecting clothes, but applying topical skincare products with antioxidants will also help to put a stop to the free radicals. Also when you are exposed to the sun, the moisture from the skin will evaporate, which causes your skin to dry out. The antioxidants listed above will also help to moisture your skin, replacing the oils that are lost. Dry skin does not cause any wrinkles, but having wrinkles with dry skin will make your appearance look even worse.
Another way of taking care of your skin is finding the correct oils in your aging skin care products. Some excellent choices in natural ingredients are jojoba oil, babassu oil, avocado oil, macadamia oil, and olive oil. An oil to stay away from is mineral oil. This oil will strip your natural oils from your skin, plus clog your pores; neither action will provide you with aging skin care.
Eating nutritious foods and drinking plenty of water (at least 8 glasses a day) will help your body maintain its nourishment and ability to regenerate and repair cells in the body. Having fruit in your diet and green vegetables will improve your metabolism and makes your cells rejuvenate faster.
Sleeping at least 8 to 10 hours a day will greatly help. While you sleep aging skin care repair begins to takes place. The longer you sleep the greater the impact the process of the repair and rejuvenation can have to make skin look younger.

google avobenzone disaster, or avobenzone side effects. a hat is a good idea.
Soleo organics is a great sunscreen. stay away from bannana boat brand.
Im not wearing sunscreen everyday. even in my house. fuck that.
@Sunny066 Sun isn’t “bad,” but its damage is cumulative, meaning you don’t see the damage (wrinkles, age spots/hyper-pigmentation) until it’s ‘too late.’ If you persistently expose your skin to the sun w/out protection, you’ll experience premature photo-aging, period. No respectable dermatologist would ever advise foregoing the protection of a block; yes, Vit D is crucially important, but not at the cost of increasing your risk of getting skin cancer (or at the very least premature wrinkles).
Sunscreen TOTALLY is age-rewinding. Just look at French women; they age SOOOOO nicely
Whats lazy about sunscreen, Love the sun love the sunscreen, sunscreen is what i need to make my life blue without the dark drizzel cloudy sky rain. I’m so excited about sunscreen cos its about the yellow warm sun, the bright blue sky
this is a really good video!
but in the description box where you talked about being in the tanning bed for 10 mins= a full day in the sun isnt true. being in the tanning bed for 5 mins= an hour..which is still bad. i agree tanning is bad but i have gone to the tanning be on occasion.
@Sunny066 amen to that ^
@SkateAndCheerGirl haha yes…defintely. My skin is slightly darker tho…from born and growing up in tropical climate, so i have found much problem with getting sunburnt for long times in the sun. But for more sensitive skin/skin tones i definitely agree. I just think that it is important to be informed about the chemicals your putting on your body, dont just trust a company brand label.
@Sunny066 nothing looks better then melanoma scars….
organic sunscree/ paraben free sunscreen? a hat? beach coverup? shade?
@missypoo2u shuddup her face is still pretty
Also fake tans look crap, nothing sexier than a natural tanned surfer girl/surfer guy or generally outdoorsier person – they just look way healthier. The myth that sunscreen that has neurotoxins and cancer causing chemicals that in fact cause cancer is sadly due to profiteers companies. These chemicals get absorbed into your body. Read up on net about sunscreen or u can continue to use these chemicals on ur body.
I used to get acne towards end of highschool, beginning of uni when i was mainly inside wif books and used sunscreen. i stopped using sunscreen and went out in the sun alot, coincidently acne also gradually stopped. Sun being bad for you has been perpetuated alot of industry. I go out in the sun alot nowadays, and skin is jst looks generally better. Vitamin D is good at preventing wrinkles and helps your skin retain moisture. Sun is the best source of Vitamin D.
I wear SPF everyday
hi please google cosmeticscop and check out Paula’s videos (bottom left) on the website and especially video archive which you will see top right when you go into the videos. Paula is really into spfs. Do try and order some of her products they are not expensive and they work especially the cleanser, toner, 2% BHA (great for cleaning your pores) and of course, her spfs.
