Use 100% cotton pillow cases change them frequently. Do not use dryer sheets or fabric softener in your laundry. Do go to the store and buy a bottle of witch hazel and some cotton balls and use it. Wet your skin with it and let it dry. Witch hazel is a plant extract that has been around for more than 100 years.It is found near the rubbing alcohol in the store. It is cheaper and more effective than anything else you will find.

Every time I go through a period of acne, I buy one at the store, and it is gone in a jiffy. Use it twice a day to wash your face. It is an antibacterial soap so it gets all the nasty stuff out of your skin. You might be little dry, but it is cheap enough ($ 1 or so) to try and see if it works. Is to wash your face 2-3 times a day (after you get sweaty or dirty) with just normal anti bacterial hand soap (best made by soft soap)
Then apply oil free lotion (clean and clear oil free+acne prevention lotion is best)
Works well for me and my sisters.You can crush some aspirin pills up and mix with a few drops of water and make it into a paste…and then apply on your entire face for 10-15 minutes. I think it helps because it dries the skin up and is also an anti-inflammatory. I think it feels good too after I do it. For some people it works fine but others it disturbs the balance of PH of skin and causes more acne. Not only that but bacteria get tolerant to antibacterial soaps and such and stronger and more resilient bacteria may arise. Pat face dry (do not wipe as it stresses skin). Use clean piece of tissue or toilet paper and spread witch hazel and salicylic acid on face one after the other. Wait for it to soak into skin and rub lotion in an upwards motion into skin. At night instead of using the lotion use the benzoyl acne cream.
Once a week use the face mask and leave on for 10-15 minutes. That will lift up the dead skin cells. You may be wondering why lotion for acne prone skin but the witch hazel and salicylic acid will dry up oils and lotion will moisturize the skin and keep it healthy. Trust me!
Remember to take a multivitamin as well and drink lots of water! The products I told you to buy should cost about 15 dollars together. This is pretty good considering the cost of expensive acne medications.
