What do I look for in a morning cleanser? 1) Mild – Gentle enough to use everyday and shouldn’t be able to remove tough makeup. 2) Light – Gel cleansers are the way to go. Avoid cream cleansers that might leave residue on your face and strip away too much oil. 3) Instant Results – Leaves skin baby soft and supple, not tight and squeaky clean! I actually used to use foundation (to cover acne scars) but I noticed that it made my skin tone uneven and caused A LOT of redness over time. So i quit and I’m really happy with my skin now. Which Top Natural Skin Care Products Can Make You – And Your Skin Look Younger?

You might disagree, but hear me out on this. To my way of thinking there are only 2 reasons why you want to use top natural skin care products. 1 — to have softer, smoother less wrinkles skin. 2 — to look younger.

If you agree with my assumption then the secret to accomplishing these 2 goals is simply a matter of researching and finding the best anti-aging, anti-wrinkle natural skin cream available on the market today.

I guess this is where we start running into problems when it comes to skin creams and lotions!

Of all the newspaper, glossy magazine and TV ads you’ve read and seen in the past 6 months… what percentage of the information did you actually believe? My personal opinion is these ads are so hyped up and exaggerated that it’s very hard to take any of them seriously.

]]>

So, if you don’t believe the ads what do you do?

You do your own research and evaluation, look at all the facts then make your own sensible logical decision without any outside influences.

I went through this process for many months and eventually formed my own conclusions as to which top natural skin care products I would buy and use.

The Internet is the greatest technological development we’ve seen yet to help us normal people gather and evaluate information. There are thousands of anti-aging skin care sites on the net. Unfortunately, the advertising hype similar to that seen in magazines and TV has also evolved on the net.

However, that said there are some great companies and excellent natural products available now — that you can only get on the Internet.

As it happens… I’m not going to tell you which product I decided to buy and use after my intensive research and evaluation of anti-aging, anti-wrinkle skin care products on the Internet.

But, I did find a range of excellent products that have helped me and my skin to look younger than it has for quite some time. So, if your interested to find out what I found and use every day, visit my website below.

How do I get good Skin Care And Acne blogs or sites?

Skin Care And Acne
Although good skin care plays only a very minor role in whether or not you get acne in the first place, it does play an extremely important role in treating acne.

Some people believe that vigorous washing can help prevent acne and that, if acne does occur, it can help to clear it up quickly. The truth is that washing has little if any effect on whether or not you develop acne in the first place but vigorous washing once it has arrived can actually help to spread, and thus worsen, the condition.

Over washing can dry out the skin, roughening it and removing the outer protective layers of the skin so that the skin has to release its natural oils to provide a protective coating while the outer layers of skin re-grow. This release of oil when the acne bacteria are present simply helps to spread the problem over a wider area.

The best policy in general, and certainly if you are suffering from acne, is to wash gently every morning and last thing at night with a mild cleanser and, this should not simply be confined to the face, but should also include the neck, shoulders, back and chest. It can also be helpful to apply a mild cleanser to the area along the hairline and under the jaw in the middle of the day and again during the evening.

Natural skin oil plays an important part in the development and spread of acne and so removing excess oil is important. However, it also plays an important role in maintaining a healthy and elastic skin and so removing every trace of it is not a good idea. For this reason you should use astringents which are designed to remove oil sparingly and with care.

Over-the-counter and prescription acne preparations have been designed specifically to get the balance right and to both treat your acne and also to protect your skin. However, they will only do this if they are used according to the manufacturer’s instructions and using medication which is of too high a strength for your particular acne or using it too often can, like vigorous washing, make the problem worse rather than better.

Makeup can often present women with a problem too when it comes to acne as, while it can help to conceal the problem, it can also add to it. Fortunately, there are many forms of makeup marketed today which again have been specially formulated for women (and indeed men) with acne and, while these are often a bit more expensive than regular makeup, the cost is well worth it and will be more than made up for by the lower cost of treating your acne if you try to use regular makeup.

Choosing the right acne medication for your particular form of acne and skin type is not always easy and often it is a case of having to try two or three different treatments before you find the one which works best for you. This can also be an expensive operation so don’t be afraid to talk to the druggist who will often be prepared to let you have free samples of acne medicine to try.

@WellnessDetective Thanks so much for letting me know it helped you understand the benefits. They are many! I’ve just started skin brushing again after being a slacker for a while. It really helps my skin look better and makes me feel good about getting rid of toxins in my body. XO Carolyn

  2. WellnessDetective says:

This is a great video and informative. I learned some new things. The raw food lifestyle usually recommends skin brushing as part of self-care. I started skin brushing, but didn’t understand the benefits of it at the beginning.

  3. notaditdot says:

@piefrance Agreed! Its OK to question things. In fact, I encourage it. Of course there are different techniques for dry brushing, although this is the only one I know. It keeps it simple and it works like a charm for me. I would suggest doing a google search and seeing what else is out there. For example, I was taught to massage towards the heart always, but some people teach massaging away from the heart. (Indian cultures I believe) Literally, its different strokes for different folks! XO

  4. piefrance says:

@notaditdot OK, we’ll just agree to disagree – maybe I’m missing something though. Are there different ways to do the brushing for lymphatic drainage? I do dry brushing, but mainly for the effects on the skin.

  5. notaditdot says:

@piefrance I just know what I read. Google the inguinal nodes. Read about TCM. Your answers are there. I am not going to go back an forth on this. Its the way I was taught to do it and its worked for the Chinese for thousands of years. Who am I to argue with them? Have a great day!

  6. piefrance says:

@notaditdot it doesn’t make sense because there’s no physical way those lymph nodes could drain those areas. Also, the lymph nodes that I mentioned in the thoracic area are closer to the thoracic duct than the axillary LN’s, so even if those nodes could drain that area, it wouldn’t make any sense to do so b/c it would be draining “out of its way” further back in the system – not very efficient. I’m not knocking the practice, but the explanation doesn’t make anatomical & physiological sense

  7. notaditdot says:

@piefrance It might not make sense to you, but according to Traditional Chinese Medicine, this is the way its supposed to be done. The reason this works is because in skin brushing, you’re shooting for the larger nodes. The inguinal lymph nodes take drainage from the buttocks and the lower part of the anterior abdominal wall. The same logic pertains to the axillary nodes. They are simply larger nodes which can handle more drainage.

  8. piefrance says:

It doesn’t make sense to do brush strokes from the intestinal area to the groin because the lymph nodes that drain the abdominal area are the mesenteric lymph nodes and not the inguinal lymph nodes. Also, the thorax is drained by lymph nodes other than axillary ones – they are drained by hilar and mediastinal lymph nodes.

    @GeminiSar Yes, it did:o) XO

awesome tattoos…did the one on your stomach hurt?

  11. notaditdot says:

@Vampres90 Yes, it really does! It improves lymphatic flow, removes dead skin cell build up, improves blood circulation, and helps tone muscles. (minimally) It makes your skin so much softer and revitalizes it:o) XO Carolyn

  12. Vampres90 says:

    Does this really work?!?!?!!?

  14. edalis14 says:

hey again, im 15 and im 5’8 and 170 pounds. My goal weight is 145 can you give me some advice on what to do to remove my inner thigh cellulite fat and m lower stomach fat to a beautiful falt stomach?

  15. notaditdot says:

@edalis14 The friction it creates may help to loosen and remove fat cells which would firm your skin. You might also try using my quick 10 minute body massage. (early video) Although I’m thin, I too have some cellulite on my legs. However, if I didn’t massage my skin everyday, I bet it’d be a lot worse than it is:o) XO Carolyn

  16. edalis14 says:

hi, does this help remove thigh cellulite?

  17. notaditdot says:

@buster999121 Keeping the lymph flowing might help a bit… (what skin brushing does) but you’ll also need some targeted exercises for those areas of your body. I have some loose skin too and you are right. It is bothersome! XO Carolyn

  18. buster999121 says:

is this good for loose skin???i have just a bit of loose skin not much but its annoying

  19. MikeCK1969 says:

@blondemestiza You can get natural skin brush from amazon and they are cheap.

  20. notaditdot says:

@judyshin1220 You will notice a big difference in the way your skin looks and feels. Moving lymph doesn’t have any real noticeable ‘feelings’ but its very good for your body as it helps to clean out the toxins. XO Carolyn

  21. notaditdot says:

@blondemestiza No way! That’s not good! No, the bristles should not leave any marks on your skin. The brush should bend a LOT when it goes across your skin and not leave marks. I bought my brush from WM years ago and its all natural boars hair. They should be brown/tan in color. Sorry that happened sweetie. XO Carolyn

  22. blondemestiza says:

Hi I just bought a skin brush from walmart and im wondering if its natural? it says it on the label but they arent the softest and leave little scratch marks on my skin is it ok to use? the bristles r yellow, but there are about 5 or 10 black ones….,

  23. judyshin1220 says:

Have you noticed a difference in… well, your health? how you feel? your body???
