Natural skincare tips?
olive oil and vitamin e and rose water from french roses.for face hair skin nails.
Baking soda and vinegar for everything else. If you are looking for something all natural to bathe with castile soap is pretty harsh but about as natural as you can get- Dr Bronners even has scented versions- peppermint, eucalyptus and lavender
oops forgot deoderant- try the salt crystals they are greatWitch hazel is an all-natural astringent.

Honey works wonders on the skin. Its bacteria helps destroy bacteria in acne.

Oatmeal wrapped in gauze makes a great exfoliant, while nourishing and moisturing your skin.

My grandma is all about the all-natural stuff. I grew up using these products and had wonderful skin all throughout high school. I really should start using them again!Be carefull with so-called “natural” products. You are correct to be leary… they don’t always have the best and most pure ingredients. I have learned this with Tom’s of Maine and JASON brands. They are for those “middle of the road” folks. Better than the big names, but still not all pure.

Check out your local health food store for products and tips. They usually can help you find what you’re needing…

I use Alvera Aloe Herbal roll on. It has a fresh witch hazel smell but they also have unscented and aloe and almonds. Yumm! It has grapefruit seed extract as a natural anti-microbial and soothing alcloxa. Their website is texasbestunlimited.com, but for some reason it’s not working right now. You can see this product at http://www.vitacost.com/AlveraAllNaturalRollOnDeodorant-AloeAlmonds/csrc=SHOPFEED-yahoossp

Organic Olive Oil is great for your skin. Sam’s Club has it for around $ 9 for a huge bottle, great to share with the kitchen…I use jojoba oil the way you use avocado oil. Great for everything. It’s actually a liquid wax, similar to the natural consistancy of sebum–the skin’s oil.

My favorite brand is Dr. Hauschka. Truly all-natural, NONE of the nasty preservatives and chemicals that break down into formaldehyde. You might also look into Aubrey Organics.

Giovanni hair care is another of those middle of the road like Tom’s of Maine, Jason’s Best, Ecco Bella. Some of their products are good, others not so good.Check – Out: ‘The Complete Book Of Essential Oils & Aromatherapy’ (by Valerie Ann Worwood) and the website mychelleusa.com!

I use to concoct my own skin products/make natural soaps using essential oils, pure ingredients, etc. About 2 years ago, I discovered the MyChelle skin care and cosmetic line. These products are unbelievably effective, the ingredients are pure (some of them contain actual fruit puree) and they literally have taken years off of my face:) This company uses no chemical preservatives or additives and the price of their stuff is comprable to or a bit cheaper than other popular, “serious,” natural skin care products.

Also, I recommend buying a book on aromatherapy/essential oils that includes recipes. You may than add the appropriate ingredients to your base oil of avocado or other and tailor to your specific skin type/needs. Have fun!! :)

Sample Recipe: RICH CLEANSING CREAM for dehydrated skin –
Beeswax – 1/2 ann ounce
Almond Oil – 2 ounces
Avocado Oil – 1 ounce
Grapeseed Oil – 1 ounce
Pure Spring Water – 3 ounces
Clarly – sage – 2 drops (essential oil)
Lemon – 2 drops (essential oil) *The instructions are in ‘The Complete Book Of Essential Oils & Aromatherapy’ and if you email me, I can get you a copy of them:)The herbal body care book. I bought mine through amazon on line and I love it. It has everything about it and how to do a body wrap and home spa treatment head to toe. Coloring your hair naturally, first aid kit for home and travel and the list goes on and on. Everything in there you can buy locally and the book costs about $ 11 retail. I paid less than that through the amazon used books. Also, if you want totally all natural and all natural preserved and absolutely no synthetics, my best friend owns www.dandesoap.com.
She makes everything there, packs and labels it. I was able to get it for so cheap from her that I make very few things now. I love that spa treatments in there, that book has paid for it’s self just on that info alone.if u want find best natural skin care tips..more infor

you can use not only Avocado, but also cucumber, lemon, honey, oatmeal and many other are vegetables and fruit…

But you need know that Avocado is also rich in fiber, foliate (folic acid), vitamin B6, iron, copper and magnesium. Other than applying avocado on your skin, consuming it in salad form can also be beneficial for your skin. Avocado contains vitamins like A, D, and E which has penetrating qualities to improve your skin. Avocado oil is also very useful for skin care. The oil is useful to remove any sun damage or age spots. It also softens the skin and provides a moisturizing effect and can do wonders on damaged, undernourished and dehydrated skin.

Common Mistakes in Selecting Skin Care Products

Mistakes #1 – Whenever a new skin care product is introduced on the market a number of people are very eager to try it out. We have a tendency to believe that this new product is exactly what we are looking for and don’t bother reading the ingredients or check to see if there is any clinical proof of their claims. We just take for granted that the product will live up to the hype.

Mistake #2 – We purchase a skin care product because it is on sale or at a discounted price. While sales are great, you should base your purchase on the reputation of the company and the ingredients listed. Additionally you need to take into account if this discounted product is really the correct purchase for your skin type.

Mistake 3# – Taking risks with your skin care products. Harsh chemicals in skin care products can harm the skin and if trying to treat a condition such as acne, rosacea, or whatever they will do nothing to improve your situation and may make things considerably worse. Alcohol can dry out the skin even more and cause redness and irritation to be ten times worse than without the use of the product. Those with sensitive skin are especially prone to damage to the skin when using skin care products with ingredients they are not familiar with.

Mistake #4 – Purchasing skin care products not designed for your skin type. Careful consideration needs to be taken especially for sensitive skin. Never go with a cream or lotion because it is cheaper.

Here are some basic rules when selecting skin care products:
First, make sure the ingredients are natural.
Find a product with antioxidant qualities to prevent and heal the damage done by the environment.
Read all your labels carefully so you can spot potential chemicals like petroleum, alcohol, heavy fragrance, and other artificial ingredients.

The best type of products is those with only natural plant extracts, essential oils, and nutrients designed for your skin. Botanical skin care products are closer to the natural ingredients in your skin. They have been used for ages and now are being found in their effectiveness for everyday skin problems. Evening primrose oil, for example, is great for anything dealing with the skin. It has been used by women for centuries and can actually soften and smooth the skin. This means fewer wrinkles and lines showing on older skin.

The bottom line is making sure that you are careful in what you place on your skin, especially around the facial area. Take the time to educate yourself on each of the skin care products you intend to use so you can have beautiful skin and not an irritated mess.
