is it possible for someones skin and hair to change colour as they grow older?
A friend of mine once had blond hair that changed into a dark brown. This could be the case. Also the cameras from back then (i don’t know your age) could have been different or the flash from the camera could have given you a lighter skin colour. There are a lot of variables……..well, if your mom is one race and your dad is another, it is possible.
my bro is white, & his gf is mex. there son was born white and bald, but by 7 he could have darker mex skin & a mustache! it is possible for your hair to change. tons of people in my family were born with blonde hair and now they have light brown/dark brown hair. it all varies. unless you went from white to black to brown to blue, you dont have much to worry about.
But i think your teacher misunderstood the question. It is normal and expected that skin tone and hair color changes as we age. Especially after puberty, when hormones levels go up dramatically , skin & hair can change.
I was light blonde at 5, but light reddish brown at 17; my brother’s hair not only got darker, but the texture changed, also.
