Shea Butter – Nature’s Gift For Beautiful Black Skin and Hair

Have you ever heard the saying, Butter up buttercup? I’m talking about Shea Butter not the stick of butter from your refrigerator. Shea butter has been a staple in African American Skin Care and our pantry’s for …. I was about to say for centuries but it’s more like Forever.

A staple on the Continent of Africa, shea butter is not only used for skin care but for hair care as well. It is considered the number one natural ingredient for beautiful black skin and hair care.

Shea butter has been combined with sea salts and turbinado sugar to create some of the most luxurious body scrubs. Its oil has been blended with coconut, jojoba, and almond oils and this makes a wonderful moisturizer for your skin and your hair. Blend it with cocoa and mango butters and shea butter makes a great skin and hair care product.

Found in its pure form and cosmetic grades (this is what is used in most over the counter products), shea butter is a skin lover’s dream product. Did you know that outside of Africa, the largest users of Shea Butter are the French?

Surprise, Surprise !!

Here’s what Shea Butter can do for Your Beautiful Black skin and Hair:

- The raw butter- this is typically what you see at street festivals and fairs, helps heal scars, burns, bruises, and stretch marks.

- It can help prevent ashy skin, chapping, and skin rashes.

- It’s great as a hair conditioner, that’s if you don’t over do it.

- Fortifies your cuticles and nails.

- Helps rid your scalp of dandruff.

- Helps prevent skin irritation for babies: used for generations to help babies sleep better.

- Ideal for dermatitis, eczema, and athlete foot especially when blended with cocoa butter and mango butter.

- Firms up maturing skin and helps soften the appearance of wrinkles.

- Shea Butter naturally contains vitamins A and E.

In its “pure” form it is a very oily product, so be careful when you’re getting dressed. Make sure that your application has had time to penetrate your skin before you put your clothes on, because it will leave a stain.

So Butter Up Buttercup with a big slather of shea butter and watch your beautiful black skin glow from the silky luster that the butter gives it.

Don’t forget your hair, it wants to benefit from the use of this product also and show off its silky, radiant, luxurious sheen.

To Your Beauty!

Is Dark Skin Black ugly and Is light skin and white skin more beautiful?
Everyone is a different color and every one of those people are beautiful. You may wish you were lighter, but I guarantee there’s someone wishing they had your skin!

Just realize that you ARE beautiful in you’re own way and embrace it!You got ‘White Girl Syndrome’, where you hate yourself and your darkness because the mainstream ideal of beauty is straight hair and comparitively light skin. When a brown women thinks she needs to lighten her skin and unkink or lye her hair to be beautiful that’s ‘White Girl Syndrome’.

It takes a lot of inner work to think and know that you are beautiful; it’s easier to believe you are beautiful if you buy a whitening cream/unkink your hair and have your friends tell you are are beautiful. Beauty starts in the inside and will make itself manifest when you believe that you are.

There is no patent on beauty, we are all beautiful.

~Divine

Ps – I am Puerto Rican I have the kinkiest hair ; ) Puerto Ricans are a mixture of African, Native Indian and Spanish blood – many of us have dark skin and kinky hair ; )well idk about you,but i’m Black and i have caramel-brown skin and naturally curly hair and lots of guys of different races tell me that i’m beautiful or gorgeous ALL THE TIME.

Beauty doesn’t have a skin color,a race,an IQ,a body size,or a hair type. As cliche’ as it sounds,it doesn’t. If you’re pretty, you’re pretty. If you’re ugly, you’re ugly. I’m so sick of Black people like you who put all other Black people into one mold. GET OUT OF THAT CLOSE-MINDED BOX AND LOOK INTO THE LIGHT!!! Hell i get guys left and right and most of them are white!!! Hell alot of light skinned Blacks have nappy hair too. And i have dark skinned Black friends with naturally curly or wavy hair. So what are you trying to say?

Who made whites and hispanic girls the eye of beauty?!?! don’t blame the media, bcuz that’s BULL!!! And there are LOTS of whites and hispanics out there with nappy hair too. don’t get it twisted.

you’re just another self-hatin Ne9r0. If you really hate yourself THAT much, why don’t you pull a michael jackson (no offense RIP).

get a life!!I feel the same way and I’ve recently started using special soaps to lighten my skin. It works at some points, but I can’t go out in the sun at all.
I only do it because my skin is dark and my older sister (17) and my older brother (28) are light skinned and tease me about it all the time. The rest of my family are light skinned also and I begin to lose self esteem over it. My mom tells me I’m pretty, but that’s what she says and I don’t believe her.
I guess it depends on the person, but I want light skin badly. There are beautiful dark skinned women out there and I see them as beautiful, but I want to look like my family~

Sobre la linea del viento….
