Drugstore Foundations: Brown Skin

Here’s a video talking about some of my favorite drugstore foundations. Most of them are CREAM FOUNDATIONS…I have Normal to Dry skin. If you have oily skin and use these products…please use and oil control solution to prevent excessive oil and/or breakouts. Thanks for watching and God Bless you. Foundations: Iman Black Opal Stick Milani Cream-to-Powder Revlon CoverGirl Queen Mary Kay MAC Studio Sculpt Wig: Sensationnel Lace Front (Leona) Foundation: Mary Kay 504 & 600 (mixed) Lipstick: Jordana – Amber (its burnt orange…looks red on camera)
Video Rating: 4 / 5

Dry, itchy and brown patch of skin on inner thigh?
It’s chaffing, it happens when your thighs rub together as you walk, washing won’t help it as it’s like a rash, i suggest either do some leg exercises to tone up or you can buy a cream to make it go down a bit.It can be ringworm or herpes infection caused due to dryness. apply acyclovir, micanazole or co-trimoxazole cream.

I just watched this vid a few weeks ago (I know I’m super late, LOL) but I gotta tell you thank you. I have been looking for a good foundation for oily skin. I recently bought the one by Revlon and I finished my look w/ a loose powder by Black Opal and it looked really good for my first time applying it!! Thank you again for suggesting it. Now if could polish my skill to get a fraction as good as you are I would be good, LOL!!!

@PrettyFrocks I agree I love Black Opal as well and for some reason I prefer it to MAC

In the past I’ve use NARS, Fashion Fair et al; Black Opal is the best, hands down! I never have to mix it with another color because the shade seems custom-made to my complexion. I like Iman products, but the foundation/powdert tends to “red-up” on me. Yellow based foundations work better for me. Also, I find that using an oil blotting sheet after I’ve applied my foundation, and before using face powder to set it, gets rid of excess oil. LOVE YOUR TUTES!

Excellent brown girl review! Loving the Milani in Spiced Almond. Thank you!

  13. lavaughn19 says:

I’ll have to try blotting with the cotton pad. I LOVE Milani Cream to Powder because it is the only foundation (and Iman) that I do not have to mix. But it transfers like crazy no matter what I do ugh! I love Colorstay but I get tired of mixing it.
