Chocolate DIY Beauty Mask
Hello sexy dumplings! So here is a fun DIY mask using chocolate! I missed doing DIY videos! Smells yummy but works great. This Summer, we can treat ourselves with chocolate….without the calories! Cocoa is high in anti-oxidants which help the skin to fight against free radicals. There are a few ‘Chocolate’ skincare products in the market but they are quite hard to find. Why not make your own mask and treat yourself? I love making my own masks because it’s so much fun and gives great results but remember that results don’t happen over night. You must be consistent and patient. I reckon it would be fun to make this for sleep over parties too. Why not? Give it a go! If you are allergic to any of the ingredients mentioned, do not try this remedy. Ps. Yes, I’ve tasted the mask before. It actually tastes pretty good! haha! Until next time, stay well guys Much love, Bubz xx Bubbi Brushes: Super excited about them. They should be launched Summer 2011. Spring Clean Your Complexion with These Skin Care Tips
Spring is in the air, and as we put away the bulky sweaters and boots, it is also time to evaluate our skin care products. For instance the moisturizer we have used all winter long may be too heavy for the spring and summer months. Furthermore, your winter moisturizer may not contain enough SPF protection for the spring and summer months.
And how about color? Usually our spring and summer wardrobe have a wonderful assortment of different colors. Why not add some color into your makeup bag and introduce new shades of eye shadow, lip tints and blush.
Below are some simple steps to get you glowing for the spring season:
1: Evaluate your moisturizer – Does it contain SPF protection? As the weather gets warmer everyone’s complexion tends to get a little oilier. Even if you have a dry or combination skin, you may need a lighter moisturizer. For those with extremely oily skin, keep a few blotting papers in your bag and/or consider Mattifying Gel which will control oily skin for up to eight hours.
2: Exfoliate the whole body – winter months can take a toll on our skin because the skin cells do not rejuvenate as fast, thus leaving behind dry, rough, and scaly skin. Smooth out skin with a whole body exfoliation. Additionally, exfoliation will promote circulation and bring about a natural glow to the skin.

3: Evaluate your skin – Just as you visit the doctor for yearly physicals; it is imperative that you check your skin. Get a skin survey from a dermatologist. The dermatologist will evaluate all moles, freckles, dark spots and variations in skin tone. Most skin cancer is treatable if detected early.
4: Your Skin and food – spring brings a bountiful harvest of fruits and vegetables and offers so much to promote great looking skin. Fruits and vegetables provide antioxidants which fight off free radicals and protects the skin
5: How about this skin care recipe – a hydrating facial mask to relieve winter dryness, below is a simple recipe you can make at home:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup unripe papaya, diced
1 teaspoon plain yogurt
1 teaspoon honey
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend. Apply the mask to your face for eight to ten minutes. Then, rinse with cool water and apply a toner to remove all traces of the mask and restore pH balance. Follow with a moisturizer.
6: What about your beauty products? If you are using a hydrating foundation, consider a light dusting powder, bronzer and light lip gloss. For springtime, it is best to keep it simple and fresh. However, ensure that your moisturizer has SPF protection!
7: Be diligent about sun protection – As the weather gets warmer, make sure you’re applying sunscreen to all exposed areas 20 to 30 minutes before heading outdoors, and reapplying every two hours. If you don’t own a double-duty product already, consider using a facial moisturizer with SPF, thus avoiding applying several layers of lotion on the face.
8: I can relate to this one! Clean out the makeup bag! Does you makeup bag look like a child went through it with their crayons? How many items do you have in you makeup bag and never use? Maybe it is time to spring clean your makeup bag and make room for wonderful spring products.
9: Don’t forget feet and hands – Well manicured toes add so much to that pretty sandal! Your hands and feet need extra care to stay smooth and supple.

What does a toner astringent do?
It helps balance your skin and closes your pores – so you have an even glow and it doesn’t get full of dirt, oil and look dull.
A toner is super important in the steps to great skin.toners are designed to restore ur natural ph of ur skin which in turn will reduce oilyness breakouts and redness I only recommend a toner if ur oily

@xSolBadguy Your short reply with nothing better means you’re defending that other guy or you’re a noob.
She reminds me of sarah silverman when she was trying to be black.

@TerraTazo no u
@xSolBadguy You chill; all you do is keep coming back at me to look smarter.
@TerraTazo lol relax dood.
Cocoa isn’t fattening and unhealthy! It’s all the sugar and crap they put into the chocolate!
can u use natural greek yogurt
@yayang92 It has to be melted then but cool it down a bit afterwards, not too hot for your sensitive skin! And oh, make sure it’s the highest % you can get! 100% is of course best!
@fdoeppen LAVANILA “The Healthy Deodorant” works and smells great. Solid white stick formula. My fav scent is vanilla lavender. On the pricey side + not an antiperspirant (not good for us) but the only natural deodorant that I have tried that actually keeps me smelling fresh
Only need to reapply before a workout or on a particularly hot day, otherwise just apply once before heading out. You can find it at Sephora for $18
@veganheart1 I use the brand Nutiva for coconut oil – they’re the best value, and great quality. You can order from them online – if you’re in the US it’s a lot cheaper to buy online, you can get it in a massive jar. Go to nutiva’s site, or vitacost, or amazon – whatever works for you
you can absolutely use olive oil, it’s just not as quick to absorb so you get a bit greasy at first
and coconut oil smells a bit nicer, but if you’re ok with it olive oil is just fine.
For cooking, when it comes to oils I always use organic olive oil, so can I use that as a moisturizer on my skin too? I’m thinking I could. Ahh this is my third comment lol I guess I have a lot to say. xD
Also, does anyone know how much coconut oil is? Like at a health food store? Last week I was looking at oils because I knew I’d need some this winter (probably not as much since my skin won’t be all dried out since I’m using all natural stuff), all I saw at that particular store was avocado oil, jojoba oil, and canola oil? I can’t remember, but I’ll definitely try to look for coconut oil. There’s another natural food store near me, maybe they have it, lol or I was looking in the wrong place.
OMG I just got a loofah last week! I think it is so cool, I used it on my face and it has made it so soft! It made my lips softer as well, it’s really nice! I am using it on my legs to see if it will get rid of my keratosis pilaris (I heard it might work, so who knows, figured I’d try!) It’s a really lovely product! Oh I also don’t use any hairspray or gel, just shampoo & conditioner for me!
I use Tom’s of Maine deordorant, Desert Essence toothpaste, & EcoDent vegan floss.
Thank you for this but unfortunately I can’t use majority of the products especially Lush as I’m allergic to citrus and they have that in majority/if not all of their products
…but I still enjoyed the information you shared with us…if you happened to know of any ideas on healthy & great products that don’t have citrus in them please share.
@fdoeppen Equal parts baking soda and cornstarch, and an antibacterial essential oil, such as lavender or rose– Cornstarch absorbs moisture, and baking soda neutralizes odor. Put it in a pretty jar, and put a bit of water in it. Use a soft toothrbursh or makeup brush to apply. Its great.
Just discovered your channel and LOVE IT! Aubrey Organics are WONDERFUL!! I have used them for almost a year now, but I want to have some variety so I am interested in trying some of the Lush line
@healthyvegan OCC is a completely Vegan and animal cruelty free brand that is high end and a very, very AMAZING quality. It is just a little expensive >_<
Was that Godiva in your tin? It smells wonderful, but didn’t lather as much as I like. I love squeaky green.. it lathers just like a normal shampoo. I’ve also noticed a lot of the soaps don’t lather very well, either. I got figs and leaves soap as a sample once, and have been using it ever since because it lathers so much nicer than the others. I absolutely adore Lush.

great video, i love lush too
Body – loofa and Morrison’s basic vegetable soap to wash, Olive oil/coconut oil or a shea butter & coconut oil butter to moisturise
Deodorant – Apple cider vinegar or lemon juice. It wont stop you sweating but will prevent the smell
Face – olive oil to wash, raw cane sugar and olive oil to scrub, oat and water mixture for a mask, 1/3 apple cider vinegar and 2/3 water to tone and shae butter to moisturise
Basic rule i go by: if i cant eat it, its not going on my body
Here in the UK you can go to Superdrug and most of their own brand stuff is vegan friendly. However, there are too many chemical in there that i cant pronounce so I make my own stuff
Hair – Bicarb Soda to wash, Apple cider vinegar and water to condition and either Olive oil/coconut oil/jojoba oil/vitamin E oil mixture or shea butter & coconut oil to moisturise my hair
how do you wash your hair with that solid tin? i dont get it lol. from my experience the best organic toothpaste is the neem leaf toothpaste.
