What Is The Best Face Cream For Aging Skin?
If your skin is showing the signs of aging such as wrinkles, lines, age spots and becoming sagging then you most certainly would like to find an effective treatment to give your face a more youthful appearance. Aging is inevitable, it is something we cannot avoid, however what you can avoid is seeing those lines and wrinkles all over your face and neck.
When you were younger you never thought about wrinkles because your body produced a significant amount of collagen and elastin. These are two essential skin proteins that help to keep your skin, tendons and fibers glued together preventing sagging. However as you age your body loses its ability to produce enough of these two proteins and that is why you notice the sagging wrinkled skin.
Collagen gives skin firmness and tone while elastin is responsible for skin’s elasticity. There are many products and treatments available on the market today that claim to be able to restore youthful skin. Many of these products do not contain natural, effective ingredients so regardless of their promise you will not get optimum result. Many of the products on the market today contain harsh, harmful chemicals that will not rejuvenate your skin but instead cause more problems. I was very surprised that my research led me to discover that many of the skin care products contain harsh chemicals that should not be used on your skin. Some of the harmful ingredients to avoid are: parabens, fragrance, dioxane, mineral oil, alcohols and triclosan. You can do some research for yourself and you too will discover this fact.

Collagen is advertised in many different formulas, the most popular is the collagen injection where synthetic collagen is injected under the skin to give a plump appearance to that specific area. Also there are many collagen creams being sold making claims to be able to firm aging skin. However science has proven that collagen when applied topically is useless. Its molecules are too large they cannot be absorbed by the skin. Therefore applied topically collagen will not give you any good result.
What is the best face cream for aging skin? I have discovered a formula that I have been using for a couple of months and while the results are not miraculous as it takes time for this product to work, I am very pleased with the result so far. There is no overnight miracle cream in a jar; any good product will take consistent and continuous use to give optimum result.
This anti wrinkle skin care product that I have been using contains natural active ingredients that have been made using the most natural, safe and effective ingredients found in any skin care products today. One of the most awesome ingredients that I would like to share with you is Xtend TK. Xtend TK has been proven to attack the 3 major causes of aging skin which gives it the ability to restore and rejuvenate your natural beauty giving your skin a vibrant and flawless appearance.
The best face cream for aging skin should be able to counter the 3 main causes of aging skin which are:

Can dry skin create the illusion of aging?
Stay out of the sun from now on and minimize the damage. I avoided sun exposure all my life and don;t have crows feet or noticeable wrinkles and am guessed to be at least ten years younger than I am. ( and I’ll be 83 in a couple of weeks )Yes,dry skin looks older and is faster at aging.Moisturize it-1.from the outside:use a good quality moisturizer
2.from inside:drink plenty of water. This keeps your skin hydrated.
also have all the omega (3,6,9) oils included in your diet. They are important for your skin. Also don’t forget to use sunscreen. That is definitely essential to keep your skin from aging prematurely. You can go out to the sun for 5 to 10 minutes without protection, but if any more then 15 minutes, you must apply sunscreen.
SPF should be minimal 10,but that depends on your skin.If very light and/or sensitive skin, then SPF should be about 25.That’s all from me,take careSure it can.
Skin is our largest organ, and is compromised partly of a collagen matrix. This matrix requires alot of water, moisture, to operate at its best health. Which when dehydrated will cause the skeletal matrix, structural matrix of the skin to warp and alter .. aka: Wrinkles..
So rehydrating the skin via moisturizers externally, and even more importantly systemically hydrating with water and electrolyte containing drinks will aid in alleviating prematurely aging skin.
That said — the sun is one of the largest contributers of pre-mature wrinkles, and wrinkles at any age. It goes something like this:
Causes of wrinkles in order of effect:
1) Genetics (yes, the 23 chromosomes from your father, and 23 from your mother dictated the path of every wrinkle you will have.. but not how soon or how ‘deep’ they may become).
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21371125
2) Not as common but drug use — and most noticeably methamphetamine use.. ie: Crystal meth. (Included in this is Smoking — the smoke itself causes some of the changes, but the systemic, internal health changes from smoking are generally what accelerates aging)
3) Sun exposure — Huge! With the popularity of tanning beds for youth over the past 35 years , as the young begin to hit their mid 40′s and 50′s it is going to be an epidemic of accelerated sun related aging I’m afraid. (IE: Those who are aged 19-44 now.. are in for a surprise =/ ).
4) STRESS — Yes, studies have proven stress is a major contributor of wrinkles. It is no longer a ‘myth’ or wonder.
5) Of course age, and muscle contractions like smiling, raising forehead muscles, squinting between the eyes, and all the movements we make regularly. Sometimes it pays not to be SO expressive.
— Though, conversely exercising these very muscles can tighten the skin and smooth out wrinkles just like working out your body’s muscles can help with the shape. Though most people don’t have the patience or time to put up with long term facial exercises.. (When I get wrinkles,.. I doubt I’ll bother.. )
Main things I can recommend:
No smoking, no drugs, healthy diet — exercise,.. Get 5-12 minutes of sun 5 days per week for vitamin D synthesis but limit it to this. Otherwise, use spray tans, etc for maximum protection of your skin. The sun just obliterates the matrix of the skin with regular long term exposure. IE: A few hours a week even.. although some people do MUCH more than this. A tan is not worth it in the long run.
Example, I am 32 — and look 24-25 .. for two reasons. 1) Genetics.. and 2) I only get the sun needed for proper vitamin D synthesis (if I am out at the beach, pool, etc.. I am protecting myself with sunscreen). I may not look like a mexican,.. but as I said,.. once you get the massive sun damage people don’t care so much about the ‘tan’.
Lastly, you are 22 — Genetically wrinkles start appearing in your teens. For some people with a high propensity for crows feet, frown lines, forehead wrinkles and so on — can show quite a large amount of permanent wrinkles in these areas for nothing more than their genetics. Which, currently, cannot be actively changed. (Not too far away though
).
But, again, the sun will absolutely make the slight wrinkles you have already and would have had anyway exponentially worse, at a young age.
This article may help you understand this a bit more and give you some ideas on treatment/precautions.
